Utah County honors partners in health effort
PROVO - Although most people tend to be held frustrated with the public healthcare, Utah County officials think, and it is much better in their province.
Utah County Health Department and the Utah County Board of Health Tuesday honored Rep. Stephen Clark, R-Provo, Inter Mountain Health Care as friends and public health.
In recognition of the Week of Public Health, Department of Health district director Joseph Miner presented the prizes at the meeting of the Commission of Utah County Tuesday, noting that both IH and Clark took great progress in promoting public health in the County of Utah.
Clark proposed legislation for this meeting, the means of the state to local authorities, health services with programs that by the legislature. During the last year of the meeting, he offered to normalize the legislation, Division of health programs across the state, “said Miner. Anderson said Clark was one of the few legislators to understand how difficult it is for the counties of the state mandates for funding.
